ASG chief officer - sales & strategic operations, Murray Rosa said the joint win, against very strong competition, was a significant achievement for ASG and its partner Capiotech. Rosa said the new contract adds to a previous contract with Qantas, signed in 2006, where ASG’s northern office provided IT systems integration and management services to support the airlines' eQ Finance project. “After working with Qantas for the past 30 months we're happy to be selected to work with this customer again,” Rosa said, adding that the company's “ability to secure additional work from existing customers was a key advantage in the current economic downturn. “It is our strong, long term relationships with blue chip clients such as Qantas that will enable us to maintain a steady flow of new work through the ongoing economic instability. We look forward to working with Capiotech and successfully delivering this project for our client.” According to Rosa, ASG's contract pipeline remains strong and the company is confident of further success in the near future. The Qantas project will be managed and delivered out of ASG's Northern Region operation, based in Sydney. |
