iVox - which claims to be Australia's only carrier-grade, white-label VoIP wholesaler - has appointed specialist VoIP engineer, Jack Fong, to the newly-created position of senior engineer.

Fong has spent the past 15 years with Nortel, most recently providing technical support across Asia Pacific and China on Nortel's next generation VoIP and TDM networks. Prior to this, he worked as Telstra's principal systems engineer, establishing the carrier's OAS development and test centre.

According to iVox CEO, Romain Bonjean, "One of iVox's market strengths is supporting resellers who bundle our VoIP with other IP services to build compelling packages for end users. Our strength relies on iVox's VoIP networks being absolutely reliable and interoperable with third party offerings."
