NetStar Australia is to implement an $1.5 million converged Cisco voice and data network for Wesley College, the largest private school in Australia. The project will include IP handsets, soft phones and wireless IP phones, a total of approximately 1200 devices being rolled out across all four campuses of the school, to serve some 600 staff and 3200 students. The network will include Cisco 802.11 wireless access points, desktop videoconferencing, and a number of full video-conferencing room systems. The converged network will replace an aging data network and PABX. |
