The Body Shop’s IT Retail Systems Manager, John Bartlett, says the company took advice from its trusted technology partner, GunPoS, who recommended HPs rp5700 “as it was the stand-out performer in testing against its competitors.” Bartlett says GunPoS worked with HP to customise a standard rp5700 RPOS PC to give The Body Shop a reliable performer suited to their needs. We are looking forward to helping The Body Shop Australia complete this rollout and integration through to next year.” According to Trevor Perry, sales director of GunPoS, “the HP rp5700 has come to market in Australia at the perfect time, as this is a great solution to meet The Body Shop’s needs. "Energy efficiency is a must as PoS systems need to be on and running 100 percent of the time. The rp5700 has been designed to have the latest energy efficient components as well as being engineered to withstand the rigors of the retail environment. “The Body Shop needed an exceptionally stable and highly-reliable RPoS PC for its demanding business environment. The Body Shop’s current technology was disparate and having several different PC configurations meant maintaining the store PoS environment was not always straight-forward. |
