TheMacBundle.com's first package deal of Mac software looks like a bargain to me.Featured Whitepaper
5 Best Practices for Smartphone Support
In a nutshell, the idea is that buyers get a swag of software at a good price, but most of the money goes to the developers rather than being diverted to the bundle organiser or any third parties used to help promote the deal. Now TheMacBundle.com has revealed its first bundle, and we can see what sort of value it offers purchasers. In my view, it's a pretty good deal. $US49.95 buys you eight applications - nine if you're one of the first 2000 customers. I reckon the highlights of the bundle are GraphicConverter and Default Folder X. GraphicConverter (usually $US34.95) is a very highly regarded utility that can open and save graphics files in practically any format. It has some editing capabilities, and batch processing and AppleScript support allows for automation. Although there's a free, time-unlimited trial version, that disables the batch processing features. What else do you get for your money? Please read on. |
