Two Games of the Year, how does that work?  Anyway, expect to be able to pick up a new Xbox 360 Elite bundle with copies of Halo 3 and Fable II very shortly.

The term ‘Game of The Year’ is bandied around from time to time, and in this case Microsoft has really run with the idea, by producing a Xbox 360 Elite bundle.

In this case as of May 28th, Australian customers will be able to purchase an Xbox 360 Elite bundled with two highly-acclaimed Xbox 360 exclusive games; “Halo 3,” the thrilling conclusion of Master Chief’s epic fight against the Covenant and “Fable II,” the masterful roleplaying sequel with a multitude of choices and consequences.

Both these games, at some point in their lifespan earned a ‘Game of the Year’ award from several leading gaming publications, hence the GOTY badge on the bundle.

An Xbox 360 Elite packs 120GB of hard drive storage, a wireless controller, headset and HDMI cable for high definition gaming goodness.  Throw in copies of Halo 3 and Fable II and you have many hours of fun ahead.

Ahhh but what about the price?

The folks at Microsoft say; “The Xbox 360 “Game of the Year” bundle will be available while stocks last at participating stores and will come at no additional cost to the original recommended retail price of AU$549.”
