If the user opens the phone vertically, holding it like a flip phone, the keyboard appears as a standard numeric keypad. Opened in landscape mode, on the other hand, the keyboard changes to a QWERTY keypad for messaging. ![]() In either orientation, the user can change the keyboard to display the other set of characters. And theoretically, of course, the keys could be reprogrammed to provide functions for any new features available on the phone. The Alias 2 will cost U.S. customers $79.99 after rebate, with a new 2-year contract. |
