5 Best Practices for Smartphone Support
Holtzhausen says CA is of the view that the managed services business will continue to grow as it “provides customers with the options and best practices to best support their IT environments.” “CA has always had a focus on the managed services market and CA’s tools fit this model very well. This has made it a natural fit for CA to commit new staff and resources to our partners and customers in this area.” Holtzhausen announced the appointment of Wilhelm Hamman as a channel account director for Australia, with a specific focus on managed services, and three other appointments - Vivek Santhana and Murray Whitlocke-Jones as customer solution architects for Australia - and Matthew Rounthwaite as a customer solution architect in New Zealand. “Dedicating new team members to this part of the business demonstrates CA’s intent to grow and invest in our partners and customers. We have a revised and refreshed channel team and I am confident that their individual expertise will be a tremendous asset to CA’s managed services business.” Holtzhausen said Hamman had worked for CA’s South African operations for nine years in various technical and sales and roles, working closely with service providers in the region, while Vivek Santhana had over 10 years experience in the IT and telecommunications industry in the US for AT&T and Verizon. Murray Whitlocke-Jones has worked within the managed services industry, most recently at Promina and Suncorp as a solutions architect, and previously with Compaq/HP as a worldwide consultant. In New Zealand, Holzhausen said Matthew Rounthwaite’s role would predominantly involve a focus on CA’s managed services business including assisting with the development of CA offerings. He said that prior to taking the newly created role at CA in New Zealand, Rounthwaite held various architect positions including at Unisys in New Zealand and the UK. and most recently he was the head of security for CA’s services division in EMEA. |
