The operation even has its own Facebook Group . The primary target of the attack is ifpi.org, the website of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, whose chairman had expressed satisfaction with the Pirate Bay judgment. That decision, handed down last week, resulted in a prison sentence and a hefty fine for the four founders of the site, which makes it easy to find downloadable music, movies, games, and other copyrighted content. Other proposed actions include bombarding the IFPI with protest faxes, or just black pages. The group has also targeted lawyers associated with the recording industry's suit. |
