Well Activision hope that there are a lot of hands in the air right now. Those hankering to try drumming or singing to master tracks from Guitar Hero I, II, III or Rocks the Eighties. With the impending release of Guitar Hero Greatest Hits (to be known as Smash Hits in the U.S), fans will be able to relive former tracks in a total band kind of way. Well, some former tracks, the selection looks to be limited to the master tracks only - ruling out any of the 'cover' versions. Activision have set up a voting site which I excitedly clicked through to, thinking I will be able to vote for my favourite older tracks to be given the World Tour make over. Sadly, whilst this is a voting site, votes only count towards the hype build up. Fans can vote for which former title will have its successful master tracks revealed.
