Gold Coast Internet service provider, OntheNet, has become the first ISP in Queensland to offer 24Mbps ADSL2/2+ services, for both residential and business customers.

The company says that more than 210,000 Gold Coast residents and businesses in suburbs extending from Labrador in the north to Palm Beach in the south and west to Nerang and Robina, over half of Gold Coast City, now have access to the service. However the actual speed available will depend on the specific customer line quality and distance.
