Rittal announced today that it will formally launch at CeBIT the Lampertz Efficiency Room (LER), a new generation of IT security room infrastructure, spread over 72 square metres of exhibition space, where visitors will be able to witness, in real-time, system protection against fire, water and dust, and burglary risks.

Rittal says the LER has been independently tested and certified, and is easily customised to individual user requirements and can be delivered to organisations in less than a month.

Operating inside the LER, Rittal says it will be will be demonstrating a live data centre with its RimatriX5 system solution.

According to Mark Roberts, Rittal’s IT business development manager, RimatriX5’s flexible, modular, and scalable IT infrastructure solutions for racks, power, cooling, security, monitoring and remote management provide customers with significant cost savings.
