The New South Wales Government has selected Netcat as a specialist web content management (WCM) software provider to its agencies with the company’s inclusion in the government’s Information and Asset Management Systems Panel (IAMS).

According to Walker, Netcat’s inclusion on the NSW government panel had He said the IAMS was a component of the government selected application systems (GSAS) program, first launched in 1994 as part of a core strategy within the NSW Government to establish preferred software vendors for corporate applications. “The objective of the contracts is to reduce the costs to Government associated with the procurement, development, implementation and operation of those application packages.
Walker said the IAMS strategy addresses the requirements of all NSW Government agencies, both large and small, as well as the disparate complexity of their information management needs, and recognised that agencies had different requirements in relation to the maturity of their information management assets. |
