The ‘international business elite’ are increasingly accessing the Internet while on the move, with a growing need for more flexibility to view television content on their laptops as well as on their desktop computers and mobile devices.

Ericsson and CNN say that 55% of the study respondents with mobile internet, accessed online content whilst on the move, for example, via a mobile device or wireless LAN. “This trend speaks to the increasing number of upscale consumers with internet access outside of the home or office environment,” says Ericsson and CNN. Kursten Leins, strategic marketing manager – multimedia with Ericsson Australia, said TV viewing habits were changing rapidly, with demand for anywhere, anytime viewing becoming commonplace across society, and not just for youth.
