Oakton CEO, Neil Wilson, announced the appointment of Richie Malin to the position of location manager for package solutions in New South Wales.

Wilson says Malin will focus on growing the ERP practice for SAP, Microsoft and Oracle solutions in the government and enterprise sectors.

Malin joins Oakton from ASG and previously worked with Price Waterhouse Coopers. He first worked in the IT industry with Data General, gaining experience in the UK, USA and Australian markets and, during 10 years in London, he worked in senior management roles with various European IT companies before becoming the managing director and co-founder of Sysao, an IT services company, winning consecutive UK and European industry over six years.

Wilson says that following the purchase of Sysao by Compel, a FTSE listed company, Malin returned to Australia in 2005 to run their Australian subsidiary.
