The Kings Button by Peter Aloisson is a 3G iPhone modified with a 6.6 carat diamond as the home button. Other changes include case parts made from 18 carat gold and decorated with 138 diamonds. Is this a stupid idea? I suspect that anyone that buys a Kings Button doesn't care what you or I think of them. And Aloisson will probably receive $US2.5 million worth of publicity just for having the idea. At least the €1.79 million price tag includes delivery and insurance - even if VAT or other taxes and duties are extra. |
