According to Sony officials, more than 600 PS3 games incorporate online features. Although the service is free, some of the content - notably the movies and TV episodes that are offered in the US - is charged for, and total sales exceed $US180 million. That's not a fortune, but it's not too bad for a service that's mainly restricted to the US and a minority platform. Before PS3 fans take umbrage, that's merely an observation that more PCs are shipped in one quarter than the all-time cumulative PS3 and PSP sales. |
