Nokia has signed a licensing deal with the Australasian Performing Right Association and the Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society that will enable it to offer access to more than ten million music tracks on its soon-to-be-launched Comes With Music service.

Nokia launched Comes With Music in the UK in October 2008 and it is due to be launched in Singapore and Australia later this quarter. http://www.itwire.com/content/view/22743/127/ It gives purchasers of certain Nokia handsets the ability to download and retain indefinitely as many music tracks as they wish. Tracks can be stored on the handset or a single PC an transferred between the two.
