The Australian Weather Widget won thinkQuick a chumby, a copy of Adobe Flash CS4 Professional, and $800 credit towards Internode services.

A prize was also awarded to Scenic Route, a game that was judged by Internode MD Simon Hackett to be the most creative Australian themed entry.

Its developer, Freman, receives a chumby and $200 Internode credit.

Freman has developed other widgets that display Queensland news from Brisbane's Courier Mail newspaper, the Oz Lotteries results, and weather radar images.

According to Richard Burke, the content and communications co-ordinator for Internode's content services group, the competition succeeded in raising awareness of the chumby.

"There are now 18 Australian widgets available whereas before the competition, there was only one," he said.

If you want a chumby, you can buy one online for $299 at the local site.
