HP says iPrint from iPhone E-mail
by Stephen Withers

A new free application for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch simplifies photo printing without involving a computer.

Printing photos directly from a mobile phone typically involves messing with Bluetooth or IrDA and is often a less than satisfactory experience.

HP reckons there's a better way, and has come up with an application to simplify photo printing from Apple's iPhone and iPod touch.

(The touch might not have a camera, but it can be used to transport photos loaded from a computer.)

HP iPrint Photo, a free download from the App Store, is said to be the first application that allows photo printing directly from an iPhone.

It works with most HP inkjet printers that are connected to Wi-Fi networks, using Bonjour to locate available printers.

HP officials claim that the application exploits the Multi-Touch interface for quick and easy printing.

Please read on to learn what HP and its customers have to say about iPrint Photo.
