So when might we expect the Wii 2? Well given that the Xbox 360 and the PS3 both have far better graphics and can boast about the HD features, the memory, even the better online experience at least in the case of the Xbox, I suspect not too long. It might well be more of a Wii 1.5 than a Wii 2.0 though, as some commentators have pointed out. Satoru Iwata, the Nintendo CEO, has certainly made no bones about the fact that new hardware is under development. A new Wii before Xmas 2009? Don't hold you breath, but sometime in 2010 could well be realistic. Not so for the PS4 if you believe everything you read from Sony PR which seem intent on sticking to a 10 year lifecycle line.
