(A full Mac version of the Picasa photo management, editing and sharing application is rumoured to be in development deep in the bowels of Google.) But version 1.3 of the Uploader has the ability to download albums into new folders on a destination Mac. Once they've been received, the photos can be imported into iPhoto or another photo-management application. Or, if you prefer, simply left as files in one or more folders.
