Page 2 of 2 Early in the new year, TiVo will begin streaming DMG Radio’s two main stations – Nova and Vega through the set-top boxes.
Targeting the 18 – 29s (Nova) and 40 – 54s (Vega) DMG has extensive coverage in the radio market. So, when there’s nothing on the box, and nothing recorded by uncle TiVo worth watching, I guess you’ll have to find something to amuse you. Unless you’re in your 30s of course (or an old fart).
Finally, TiVo has announced an extension to the free On-line Services offering. Extending the current suite of online applications, including Sunrise Weather, Horoscopes (for the intellectually challenged) and the World Clock application there is now PixelEyes (a service to connect to images stored on Picasa or Photobucket), a Sudoku game and other amusements. Current users will find the updates automatically delivered to their TiVo during this week.
After a relatively weak start in Australia, uncle TiVo is starting to get some traction. I can’t wait to see what will come from the developer program.
