5 Best Practices for Smartphone Support
Telstra says the EasyTouch Discovery is “ideal for seniors and those seeking a simple, easy to use phone” and was “designed and tested by Telstra’s Connected Seniors panel following research and feedback.” It will be very interesting to see how successful the design of this phone is, and whether or not it still offers the more advanced features of video calls, mobile Foxtel, mobile broadband etc, as originally the Vodafone Simply did SMS, calls and an address book, with no other "advanced" features, although that was entirely on purpose. The second phone is an update to the Telstra “Country Phone”. Now called 165i, Telstra says this phone has “gone from good to great”. The original model is “renowned for its excellent regional coverage and durability”. The new handset is meant to take this one step further, being “smaller and faster”, and is being marketed as “ideal for farmers and regional customers.” Third on the list is Nokia’s well known N96. It’s the successor to the N95 and N95 8GB, comes with a 2.6-inch screen, 16GB of internal memory (expandable up to 32GB by 16GB microSD cards now available at retail, 5 megapixel camera and plenty more features. It’s Nokia’s current flagship smartphone, or “multimedia computer” as Nokia likes to call its N-Series devices. Phones four, five and six are on page 3, please read on for more! |
