Wow, that didn’t take long. The iPhone Dev Team strikes again, giving
jailbreak freedom to iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 1st-gen users, while
iPhone 2G owners get the double whammy of jailbreak and unlock as
usual. There’s still no 3G unlock, but if you haven’t updated your
original baseband, the iPhone Dev Team could well be delivering an
