Retail software specialist Triquestra International has appointed Nicole McKenzie as Head of Global Sales, with responsibility for driving channel sales in markets outside of Australasia, especially in the United States, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Ms McKenzie has held senior management and sales positions for technology companies as well as acquiring and growing her own business, Trinity Design.  Before Trinity, Ms McKenzie was Managing Director of Sato New Zealand, where she had also held the position of Sales Manager. She joined Sato when it purchased Walker Datavision in June 2006. At that time Ms McKenzie was General Manager of Walker Datavision.

In September, Triquestra appointed Michael Gravina as Australian Sales Manager, responsible for strategic expansion and partner development in a market where Triquestra says it has been achieving strong sales growth.

Triquestra’s CEO, Kelly Brown, says Ms McKenzie’s appointment is the second senior sales appointment in two months, reflecting Triquestra’s growth in several key markets.

“Nicole has 21 years experience working in sales and solution-based businesses.  She will use her exceptional strategic and leadership skills to further expand our presence in the United States, Europe, the Asia-Pacific region,” Ms Brown said.

Ms McKenzie says that while the retail industry was going through a time of unprecedented change it was also a time of great opportunity.

“In today’s challenging market, smart use of technology will be critical to helping retailers drive down inventory costs, manage supply chains more effectively, while delivering a superior customer experience,” McKenzie said.

“Visionary retailers will also be looking for integrated software that works across channels and creates a consistent experience for customers no matter how they shop, while also producing back office efficiencies.

“With Infinity, Triquestra has produced a scalable, robust, user-friendly application that integrates seamlessly with a host of other technologies. I look forward to working with retailers to create lasting benefits for their businesses by harnessing the potential of Infinity,” Ms McKenzie said.
