NetComm has launched a VoIP telephone adaptor/router that automatically routes 000 calls via the PSTN.
The unit, the V300 connects an analogue phone to either a broadband modem or a standard telephone socket. It also comes with an inbuilt router that "maintains high-quality VoIP calls during periods of heavy Internet by dynamically calculating the bandwidth required to maintain optimal voice quality" and a three-port LAN switch. Set up and configuration is via a web browser. The product retails for $199.
