Frost & Sullivan last night presented 16 awards to the best and brightest in the Australian Information & Communications Technology (ICT) industry at the 2008 Frost & Sullivan Australia Best Practices Awards.
A veritable ‘who’s who’ of organisations in Australia’s ICT landscape made the honour roll call of award recipients. These included Cisco Systems, Google, IBM, Polycom, Symantec, Telstra, Verizon, Vodafone, Ninemsn, News Digital Media, realestate.com.au and Fox Interactive Media.
Held for the third consecutive year, Frost & Sullivan hosted the Awards Banquet at a gala dinner in front of 100 IT industry people at Dockside in Sydney’s Cockle Bay Wharf. “Market performance is based on our assessment of who leads the market in terms of market share and growth over the past year. Customer satisfaction is based on the views of customers and end users on the levels of satisfaction they have with various suppliers,” says Mark Dougan, ANZ managing director, Frost & Sullivan. This year’s inaugural Frost & Sullivan 2008 Sustainable IT Vendor of the Year was awarded to IBM Australia.
