While on the way to a Pokémon contest, Ash and his cohorts pass through Alamos Town which houses a Time and Space Tower. All is not well, however, for soon Ash and friends discover something is causing terrible nightmares for Pokémon and people alike.

Baron Alberto blames this turn of events on Darkrai. As if he heard the accusation Darkrai suddenly appears to confront the heroes.

Meanwhile the sky is tearing above Alamos Town and Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia struggle through the rips in a newly created dimension. Their ensuing battle threatens to damage the space/time continuum forever!

You’ll have to watch the movie to discover if Ash and his friends survive this showdown (my money’s on “yes”.)

Darkrai – officially character No. 491 in the Pokedex – will be appearing in the trading card game and now also the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl games.

Darkrai features an exclusive move called “Dark Void” which lets him put two opponents to sleep at once. How will this play out in fierce battles?

Happily, you can find out without difficulty or cost. You will need to own a Nintendo DS or DS Lite console, and either one or both of the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl games.

Take both your console and game cartridge to any Target or Toys-R-Us store between October 30th and November 9th to receive Darkrai via free WiFi download and catch this new pitch-black creature for yourself.
