BT scores a double in global telco awards
Telstra CEO, Sol Trujillo was in the running for the title of the 'Most Influential Person in Communications' at this year's World Communication Awards in London, but the gong went to BT's CEO, Ben Verwaayen.
The judging panel's vote for Verwaayen was said to be "almost unanimous". BT was also voted 'Best Global Carrier', was also highly commended for 'Best Brand' and was a finalist for 'Best Customer Care' and 'Best Managed Service'.
