Vodafone roots for small business telecommunications through ‘Bizfone’ E-mail

Bizfone’s Goldsmith continues: “Bizfone licensees can sell to companies anywhere in Australia, based on their own business connections, but they can only market and advertise to companies within their respective territories.”

“The model works because Australians are great entrepreneurs and Bizfone gives skilled professional sales people a real chance to have a go for themselves.

“Very few companies present an opportunity to build a business from scratch under the banner of a globally recognised brand such as Vodafone.

“We’re also confident that our licensees will demonstrate a very thorough approach to managing their client book because there’s a degree of pride and ownership that comes from looking after your very own clients,” concluded Goldsmith.

Although Vodafone is only announcing the Bizfone partnership today, Bizfone says it has already “signed up 15 independent communications consultants and has identified more than 50 high-growth business areas throughout Australia where it is keen to appoint new licensees.”

Bizfone is promising to look after its new licensees, promising “full induction training” and “free start-up kits which include business card templates, sales literature and administrative access to online catalogues and product inventories.”

Bizfone is inviting anyone interesting in doin’ the biz with Vodafone and Bizfone to visit one of its “career presentation evenings throughout Australia” and is “inviting interested sales professionals to reserve a seat by calling 1300Bizfone.”

No doubt Telstra, Optus and Three Mobile will all increase their efforts in retaining and signing up new business customers in response to Vodafone’s new business push.

In the end it should mean better prices for business consumers, and I doubt too many will be unhappy with that!
