CNN is reporting that this is the biggest one day plunge in market values in history. The tech sector was unable to avoid the apparent panic, losing just under 9 percent of its combined value in all. Channel Insider reports that all 50 of the leading tech vendors and distributors it monitors suffered losses. The Internet, of course, has played a part in all of this. The VoteNoBailout website claims more than 100,000 letters sent within 24 hours to members of the House of Representatives to urge them to vote against the bailout.
