A little investigation later (cue: it's a hard job but...) and we managed to put together our list of the iTWire top 5 high tech bras, as you do.

What we found was a mixture of the bizarre and the truly inspiring. No, really. In fact we dare you not to be at least a little inspired by the bra holding up the number one spot.

At number 5, the Geekini: a bikini for geeks featuring strategically placed buttons from a Nintendo games controller. It could be 'game over' if you tried pressing any without explicit prior permission.

At number 4, the Erokawa: more Japanese underwear madness, a miniature but 'real' sexy bra to dangle from your mobile phone and 'catch all attentions' as the advert promises.

At number 3, the Radiation-Proof Bra: sticking with Japanese innovation, and mobile phones, this bra promises to protect your breasts from harmful mobile phone radiation.

At number 2, the Bullet Proof Bra: as issued to Policewomen in Germany, apparently, the bra designed to be worn with a bullet proof vest by removing all plastic and metals bits that might cause damage upon ballistic impact.

At number 1, the Cancer Detecting Bra: being developed by breast obsessed boffins from the University of Bolton, England is the smart bra that can detect early stage breast cancer.

See, we told you so...
