From the Sweden based developer of the Battlefield series, Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment (DICE), Mirrors Edge looks to be a breath of fresh air both in look and game-play. This time around it is all about avoiding engaging the enemy in a city where the government has iron-fist control. “Play as Faith, the best and most agile of all runners, in an adrenaline-fuelled race to save her sister’s life as she unveils a bigger plot involving the whole city and the runners. Mirror’s Edge is an action-adventure game that revolutionizes the genre by introducing a full body experience with dynamic 1st person movement and combat, in an immersive modern-day universe and with a socially charged storyline.” Mirrors Edge is due to ship on November 11th for Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3. PC owners will also get a version of the game at a later date. Here is the latest teaser trailer from DICE, entitled Faith in the City:
