5 Best Practices for Smartphone Support
Whilst I have already written about this year's SFD, many details have now emerged about Melbourne, Australia's event. The team organising the Melbourne, Australia event has been very busy putting together a terrific programme. FOSS will be on show and you'll be able to use it and see it in action. You'll be able to pick up free CDs with various Free and Open Source Software for Windows users, Apple Mac users and Linux users. Guest speakers will be presenting talks with Q&A sessions. At 11am, Tyson Clugg, current President elect of Melbourne Wireless Inc, will be talking about that project, one of the largest free wireless intra-networks in the world. At 12pm, Dale Clapperton, Chairman of Electronic Frontiers Australia will be presenting on a range of issues concerning your on-line freedoms and rights. This will be particularly interesting in the light of the Australian Federal Government's proposed Internet censorship project, which this year has been steadily progressing towards implementation. Please read onto page 2 for the afternoon's continuing programmes. |
