Barack Obama taunts John 'lamer' McCain E-mail

A new TV advert has plainly stated that McCain, the 72 year old McCain, is locked in the past. It starts with the word 1982, which is when McCain was elected to Congress, and uses imagery such as huge cellphones and a Rubik's Cube to give the impression of a dated politician.

The unflattering images of McCain wearing a bad suit and worse glasses only add to the retro feel. But things start to get real serious real soon.

“Things have changed in the last 26 years, but McCain hasn't. He admits he still doesn't know how to use a computer, can't send an e-mail, still doesn't understand the economy and favors $200 billion in new tax cuts for corporations, but almost nothing for the middle class. The Republicans have responded by arguing that McCain travels with a laptop and inaccurate to say McCain can't send an email. The same spokesperson would not, however, confirm if McCain actually uses email though.

The Democrats, meanwhile, are standing by the message in the adverts, including the email claim. McCain is “unable to address the challenges facing the country in the 21st century” a spokesperson said, adding “It’s extraordinary that someone who wants to be our President and our Commander in Chief doesn’t know how to send an email.”

On the other hand, the USA has had 8 years to get used to a lamer being in charge of the country...
