Activision  and developer Treyarch announce their plans for imminent war.  Well imminent beta test for war.

A multiplayer beta test both for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Call of Duty: World at War has been announced.

Publisher  Activision in conjunction with developer Treyarch will give fans an early chance to experience the multiplayer side of the upcoming Call of Duty: World at War.

Players will experience the game’s new squad system, as well as fan favourite perks and kill streaks.

“We are excited to share a sneak peak of Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer with the community,” says Mark Lamia, Treyarch Studio Head. “The team has worked hard to build upon the great history and foundation of Call of Duty multiplayer and we can’t wait to go online to ramp up for our November launch.”

Both betas will be underway in October.

For players who are looking to feel the all-out combat and get tokens for the Call of Duty: World at War Xbox 360 multiplayer beta, they can register at www.callofduty.com .

As well as the PC and Xbox 360 version, Call of Duty: World at War is destined for PS3, Wii and Nintendo DS platforms.
