Apple Store Melbourne unfair for disenfranchised consumers? E-mail

Like its Sydney predecessors, the Chadstone Apple Store will be more about the experience than selling product. Unlike the case with many Apple resellers, there is no price matching or discounting from the recommended retail price at Apple Stores.

What consumers will get, however, is access to the full range of Apple's products, from Macs to the iPhone, plus a well trained and skilled team of Apple staff to demonstrate how to use them. The smart consumer would probably be well advised to visit an Apple Store first before buying a particular product from an authorised reseller, where they can haggle over price.

The Chadstone Store will open its doors to the public at 10am.
