Australian Gov’t sets date for Nearly Begun Network (NBN) E-mail

Although the process has been delayed, Conroy explained the delays and new push for haste, saying: "It has always been the Government's position that the provision of appropriate network information to proponents is vital for the success of the National Broadband Network process and that this should be done as soon as possible.”

The Senator continued that: "Requested network information has now all been received from contributing carriers, reviewed for compliance with the Government's request and is now available to all proponents."

So, the NBN continues inching forward once more. Let’s hope that by 2009, the NBN still isn’t moving at a glacial pace!
