! Microsoft has appointed Peter Watson as the director of platform strategy for its Australian operations. Watson will continue to oversee Microsoft’s security strategy and operational activities, where he will be supported by Stuart Strathdee and Scott Deacon. Prior to joining Microsoft, Watson worked at IBM, Arthur Anderson, Bank of Melbourne, Ansett Transport Industries and Coles Myer.
