More evidence against iPhone 'bad antenna' theory E-mail

Two of those iPhone 3Gs were taken to the Bluetest testing facility, and guess what?

"There is nothing unusual or strange with the performance of the antennas. If these mobiles do not keep the connection with the network like they should, the reason is not the antennas or how they are mounted, says Charlie [Orlenius, who performed the testing]."

For those that want to hang onto the antenna theory, this doesn't prove that some iPhone 3G antennas may be misaligned, but it does show that idea doesn't provide an adequate explanation. There's clearly at least one other factor at work.
