Rose also claimed that the big Apple iPod launch date will be September 9th. Historically, Apple tends to launch Macs in August and iPods in September so Rose could well be right. I have found nobody amongst my media contacts who has said 'No, absolutely not true' and plenty who have simply said they couldn't possibly comment. Which you can usually take as a yes. Of course, this news will mean that the Apple world online is about to explode with rumours of this being a Apple Super Event and heralding the arrival of that much speculated about new MacBook. Somehow, if this were going to happen, I reckon Kevin Rose, and the rest of the informed rumour brigade, would have been all over it. And they are not... |
