Until recently, Apple has been enjoying a stellar run with sales booming and customer satisfaction running at all-time high. While the company has faced various issues in the past, the simultaneous problems with MobileMe and the iPhone 3G may put a dent in the company's image.

It's been held that when it comes to repeat business, customers' opinions are less shaped by the occurrence of problems than the company's response. For example, people who return products for repair or replacement under warranty and have a good experience with the process are more likely to buy again from the same company than those who have no problems with their purchase.

Has Apple done enough for owners of troubled iPhone 3Gs? Not as far as we can see.
