Page 3 of 3 Other products covered by Perlmutter included the second-generation dual core processors for thin and light notebooks, forthcoming high-performance solid-state SATA drives for notebook and desktop use, and Intel Anti-Theft Technology (AT).Once "theft mode" kicks in, it can be deactivated by entering a predefined passphrase or a recovery token provided by an organisation's IT department or an external provider such as Absolute Software or Phoenix Technologies. Other vendors and service providers will offer Intel AT starting in 2009.
