Page 3 of 3 On a slightly different note, I discovered while surfing some Apple news sites that a new iPhone (and iPod Touch) stylus has emerged from Japan. Retailing for US $14.99, and coming in silver or black models, it seems to have a finer tip than the US $19.99 Pogo iPhone Stylus that debuted, from memory, late last year. I hope some Australian iPhone accessory importers bring it to Australia and sell it here so I don’t have to pay exorbitant shipping fees to send it over from the US, because it actually looks pretty cool and the option of a stylus is no bad thing for some iPhone users. Heck, Apple stores should carry them! So... the next few weeks will undoubtedly bring forth more news of iPhone OS 2.1 betas and then the inevitable release itself, which will no doubt send the iPhone Dev Team into frenetic action to hack and crack it again, all the while working on a true software-based iPhone 3G unlock, which sadly isn’t yet available. iPhone OS 2.1. Please, oh please... be a panacea, and not more purgatory!
