Meet the teachers and principals from the digital education revolution - check out the expo opportunities at the VITTA Annual Conference 24 to 26 November, 2008 at Rydges on Bell, 205 Bell St Preston.

A limited number of exhibitor and advertising opportunities are still available at this leading conference organised by the Victorian IT Teachers Association (VITTA).

In 2007, the VITTA Conference attracted over 160 proposals for presentation and over 800 delegates with close to 1000 delegates expected this year, including many from outside Victoria. As a result, the conference offers Australia's largest opportunity for exhibitors to meet with teachers engaged in using technolgies in their classrooms - so places in the exhibition area are filling fast.

A map of the exhibition area is available on page 4 at http://www.vitta.org.au/documents/item/22. Delegate access to the plenary and workshop rooms is via the exhibitor area where all food and refreshments will be served. Well-attended draws for a number of valuable prizes are held in the exhibition area at the end of each day, accompanied by refreshments.

The conference program is organised around the following audiences:

* Teachers engaged in P-12 and Vocational Education and Training (VET) curriculum (attending across all three days, Monday to Wednesday)
* Principals and school leaders (Monday)
* Pre-school and Primary school, VCAL, MulitMedia VET (Tuesday)
* School technicians, ICT managers and VET IT (Wednesday)

A printed conference promotion and program guide will shortly be distributed to all teachers and principals across Australia.

The opening keynote presenter this year will be Derek Robertson, who runs The Consolarium, the Scottish Centre for Games and Learning sponsored by the Scottish Government Schools Directorate. This will be Derek's first visit to Australia.

This year, the VITTA conference will also be including sessions about using technologies and digital media in pre-school and early childhood teaching and learning.

The conference is always particularly well-attended by secondary school teachers of IT and digital media, with around 150 school principals also attending the special day for principals and school leaders.

For conference exhibition, program and advertising details please follow the links at http://www.vitta.org.au or call the VITTA office at (03) 9495 6836 as soon as possible to secure an advertising and/or exhibition space.
