Google's official position is "Our policy is only to provide imagery from public roads. If there are occasions where Street View inadvertently contains imagery from private roads, anyone can flag this and we'll act quickly to remove it." Let's hope that the contractors still driving the Google branded cars that take the photos have been given even stricter instructions about keeping off private property. |
