More than 50 entries were received. The other finalists were:Yukon IT & Technology (Victoria, third place) and then in alphabetical order Enspire Digital (New South Wales) Leader Computers (South Australia) PLE Computers (Western Australia) Plus Corporation (New South Wales) RTV Computers (Western Australia) Scorpion Technology Computer (Victoria) "With great emphasis on going green all over the world, we believe that computing systems that consume less power and contribute to our environment is a trend that will continue well into the future," said Shirley Koh, marketing manager at Western Digital. "It's time to tell the Australian public that green computing technology is here and that power and cost savings in such systems is possible without impacting performance." Alan Chen, managing director of Gigabyte Australia, added "We want our valued customers to become part of the green trend in technology as well as ease the environmental concerns of the wider Australian public."
