Still, no network is immune from down time no matter how rarely it happens, and whether Optus consumers will be credited anything on their next bill for the 8 hour inconvenience is, for now, unknown. Optus Mobile spokespersons were unable to say how many of its customers were affected or what the cause of the network issues was.
