Siemens Communications has deployed its real-time IP systems for Heatcraft Australia across more than 60 branches nationwide.

Heatcraft, one of the largest refrigeration manufacturing facilities in the southern hemisphere, has over 700 employees nationally and is currently expanding its operations to China. Heatcraft’s new Shanghai office will also implement Siemens' HiPath 3750 system.

“We were after a future-proof communications solution,” said Joan Gomez, services administrator, Heatcraft. “The (Siemens) HiPath solutions are VoIP-enabled, a capability that we can deploy across the business, making it a cost-effective solution that enables us to adapt to new IP technology easily.”

The HiPath 3550 and HiPath 3750 offer small and medium businesses a seamless transfer from conventional communications systems to an IP-based communications platform.

“The Siemens vision is to make the investments of our customers better and we believe the HiPath systems roll out across Heatcraft’s offices, both in Australia and in China, will provide them with a flexible communications solution tailored to their needs today and into the future,” David Healy, general manager, Siemens Communications – Enterprise, said.
